“I don’t know where to start. There will never be words enough to show the appreciation I have for Fred and his team at Burnett Regional Funeral Services. Losing your mother is absolutely the worst time in your life. Fortunately, I knew exactly what my Mum wanted for her funeral and burial. But … throw COVID-19 into the mix and there’s a whole new world of restrictions. Fred helped us navigate daily changes to what the ceremony could and would look like. If it is at all possible, the service that Fred help deliver was more perfect than we could imagine. And more importantly, was perfect for my Mum – it was her to a tee! Fred, ever accommodating, kind and considerate. An all round nice guy, with a great sense of humour. And the whole time he was helping my family deal with grief and loss, he was dealing with his own wife’s hospitalisation.” Alana

Shirley HampsonTestimonials

“From the first phone call to Fred and Shirley, the family were given the best advice regarding funeral arrangements.  They met with us personally and helped us through the process of arranging booklets, photos and the entire service, to make Dad’s farewell a fitting tribute to a wonderful man.  Once we had sorted arrangements out, they told us they would organise everything on the day, including flowers and set up of the sound system and hall, as well as everything that was required at the cemetery.  This made the whole funeral and interment service less stressful at a very difficult time.  The service in the hall was professionally conducted, but with a personal touch that warmed our hearts.  Likewise, the interment service at the cemetery was respectful and comforting for family and friends. ”  Nick
